Pepper mill in Swiss wood, hand-turned in a Swiss turnery. Available in three types of wood: maple, walnut and cherry. Simple cylindrical shape, 110 mm tall, with a steel grinder by Strässle, made in Switzerland since 1957. From the wood to the grinder, entirely Swiss craftsmanship.

My tip: The steel grinder is made for pepper and hard, dry spices. Not suitable for salt – there is a separate salt grinder for that.
Origin & Craft
This pepper mill is made entirely in Switzerland. The maple wood comes from Swiss stocks, and the mill is turned by hand in a Swiss turnery. The grinder comes from Strässle and has been made in Switzerland since 1957. From raw material to grinder, everything stays in the country.
Material
Maple is a pale, fine-pored wood with a calm grain. Every mill is one of a kind; the grain looks different on each piece. The surface is waxed, which protects the wood and emphasises its natural structure.
Grinder
The steel grinder by Strässle has been made in Switzerland since 1957 on the same proven principle and is known for its durability. It is designed for pepper and hard, dry spices, cracks the peppercorn precisely and delivers an even grind from fine to coarse. Steel is not suitable for salt – there is a separate salt grinder for that.
Size & Shape
Simple cylindrical shape, 110 mm tall. A size that sits well in the hand and fits on any table.
Care
Keep dry and do not wash out. Wipe with a dry or slightly damp cloth when needed. Occasionally treat the waxed wood with a little care wax, so the surface stays beautiful.
