Arrabiata seasoning brings all that Italian passion straight into the pan – sun-dried tomato flakes, aromatic oregano and fiery Wiri Wiri chilli create an aroma that explodes in your nose at once. The heat is intense but harmonious, just like a real pasta all’Arrabbiata. One spoonful of Arrabiata seasoning and your tomato sauce gets power, depth and that unmistakable “angry” kick that sets your taste buds dancing.

Origin & Story
My Arrabiata seasoning takes up the flavours of the popular Italian pasta sauce "all'Arrabbiata", which has its origins in the Lazio region. "Arrabbiata" literally means "angry" – a nod to the heat of this popular sauce. Ever since my early years of cooking, the simplicity and intensity of this Italian speciality has fascinated me, which is why I carefully developed this traditional blend to bring its unmistakable aroma straight into your kitchen.
Highlights
This spice blend has an intensely aromatic profile, shaped by sun-dried tomato flakes and aromatic oregano. The finely ground Wiri Wiri chilli, at around 100,000 SHU, delivers a noticeably intense yet harmonious heat. Fresh parsley rounds off the blend and gives it its lively character. The blend is deliberately designed to be tomatoey-spicy – ideal for sauces and pan dishes. The exact recipe remains my secret.
Quality
All ingredients are mixed fresh, single-batch and carefully by hand. I use only all-natural ingredients – completely free from additives, technical aids, artificial flavourings or anti-caking agents. The best spices have always inspired me to create new dishes. Only the best is good enough to reach the very top – for you, in your kitchen. 100% natural. Just the way I use it myself, every day.
Tip from Tobias Funke
The spice blend develops its aroma best when you sweat it briefly in olive oil before adding the other ingredients. Your Arrabiata turns out perfect when you use fresh tomatoes or high-quality pelati. A splash of pasta water helps achieve a creamy sauce consistency.
